Aaahhhh…I love summer and warm weather. Summer weather sends us searching for pools, and  lakes to cool ourselves from the high temperatures. In the Northwest with our hot summer sun and our cold water lakes, enjoying the season can sometimes become a hamster wheel: Too hot in the sun  – go jump in the water. Too cold to stay in the water – get out to warm up in the sun.  Repeat. That’s why I love pool noodles. They allow some of my hot body (hot as in temperature) to stay in the water, but keep the other body parts afloat to soak up some of that heat.
